California Wolves Threatened

PLEASE TAKE ACTION

by James Hines

Greetings, Wldlife Activists--

Wolves, iconic symbols of the American west, dominant creatures in the natural ecosystem, are now threatened with extinction once again.

Wolves, which were killed off in California decades ago, and slowly but steadily making a comeback in California (and other areas in the West), may now be victims of congressional legislation.

Southern California Congressman Ken Calvert (R-Corona) has introduced legislation into Congress to ban any federal endangered species act funding for protection of wolves in California and across our nation.

Please be the voice for our small but growing CA wolf pack and let Congressman Calvert know your displeasure with this legislation by calling his office in southern California (951) 277-0042 or his Washington, D.C. office (202) 225-1986.

Please let your member of Congress know your feelings as well regarding the protection of wolves in California.

Thank you for being the voice for our voiceless wolves.

For the wild,

Jim
