Welcome to the Angeles Chapter!
As a new member of the Sierra Club, you now have access to a wealth of resources, events, and opportunities to get involved. There are activities happening every day all across Los Angeles and Orange County, and we’re here to help you navigate your way around.
To start, here are some links that you might be interested in:
- Find your local Group to meet people in your area and to learn where they meet, how to get on their mailing list, and what events are coming up near you.
- Join us on the trail! The Angeles Chapter sponsors over a thousand outings each year all across Los Angeles and Orange County. You and your friends are welcome to join us on day hikes for free. We also offer fun trips such as backpacking, car camping, skiing. Let us know if you want to become a hike leader! The outings leadership training program is excellent!
- Manage your communication preferences from your Sierra Club portal. You can set up your account here: sierraclub.org (Click on the word "login" at the top to begin).
- Volunteer with us! Our volunteers are the backbone of the whole chapter, and are some of the most amazing people you’ll meet! Whether you want to help out just once or often - it’s all greatly appreciated!
- From photography to avid peak bagging, use this link to connect with an activity section that shares your passion.
- Set up monthly donations to the Angeles Chapter. The Angeles Chapter’s many campaigns and activities rely largely on donations. Monthly donations made directly to the Angeles Chapter is the easiest and most effective way you can support our work. You can donate any amount! 100% of your donation stays local. Any gift of any amount is truly appreciated!!
