We have work party events three times a year in April, July and October. Work parties are a lot of fun and provide an opportunity to give back & preserve a piece of Sierra Club history. Our expert cooks provide all the meals during the weekend. No special skills are required and all volunteers are welcome. The fee for each work party is $20.00 for the weekend which covers the meals. In exchange for volunteering, you will receive a free pass to use on another weekend!

Significant Completed Projects

• Replacement of all 28 windows with double pane energy efficient windows
• Complete kitchen remodel with cabinet refacing, new countertops and sinks, upgraded lighting and a new Wolf commercial gas stove
• Family rooms remodeled and heaters installed
• Women’s rest room remodeled
• Exterior stonework regrouting

We have several ongoing projects:

• Finish electrical rewiring the Lodge
• Complete refinishing women’s dorm wall

We also have several future projects that we'll start once the ongoing projects are complete:

• Remodel men’s restroom
• Driveway repair and upgrade
