Rep. Schiff to speak at Member Training
The Angeles Chapter's Annual Member Training Workshop, Feb. 11, at the Eaton Canyon Nature Center in Pasadena, will feature Congressman Adam Schiff as keynote speaker. If you've taken on new responsibilities in the Chapter and need help learning the job, this is the program for you. The session on 'Where Am I? Naviguessing the Sierra Club,' for example, can help you figure out how your job fits into the big picture of the Club.

You can learn how to best convey your point to elected officials in a session where you'll get to practice, get videotaped, and critiqued in a small group. Even if you've held your position before, a refresher never hurts. Plus you'll get to sample other topics, from fundraising to being a good leader to the hottest conservation issues of the day.

Breakfast and lunch is included in the daylong workshop. Contact registrar Mary Morales to reserve space (949-586-9528).
