Bring the whole family down to enjoy the day at a real-live, operational organic farm.

Join Sierra Sage and Farmer George Kibby for the Sustainable Food Festival at South Coast Farms in San Juan Capistsrano. The festivities get started at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 27.

Enjoy Orange County's rural heritage while dining al fresco on South Coast Farms' 28 picturesque acres. The gourmet vegetarian meal will be prepared by Chef Mark Cleveland of Avanti Cafe.

Festivities include an heirloom tomato tasting, live music by the Saddleback Boys, and a farm tour. Farmer George Kibby will speak about the environmental benefits of organic farming and sustainable foods.

Admission to the Food Festival is $30 for adults, $15 for children 12 and under. Make your reservations by sending a check payable to Sierra Sage to Kaye Clarence, 10 Via Berrendo, Rancho Santa Margarita, CA 92688. A ticket with directions will be mailed. Contact Kaye Clarence with questions at 949-709-2967.
