Sierra Club members get free admission to LA Green Festival

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Grab the whole family and check out the Green Festival in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Convention Center this weekend, September 12-14—Friday noon-6pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-6pm. Sierra Club members get in free!

The LA Green Festival features favorites like the organic, vegetarian and vegan food court; a family stage, business & technology stage, and home & community stage; hands-on DIY workshops; live music; yoga and inspiring keynote presentations by leaders, authors and thinkers who are active in the green movement.

Speakers this year include innovator and entrepreneur Alan Tratner; creator the TV series "Manifesto" chronicling activists, Scott Ryan; president and founder of the Citizen's Climate Educational Corp, Marshall Saunders, and vegan chef Leslie Durso.

The Green Marketplace features products and services from local, regional and national green and sustainable businesses and organizations. You can even test drive fuel efficient vehicles, learn tips from local chefs or adopt a pet.
