Orange Hills Task Force

The Orange Hills Task Force has engaged in a long campaign to protect and preserve the hills east of Orange in the vicinity of Irvine Lake and Peters Canyon Regional Park. In 2010, we will continue to work toward ensuring that those areas currently protected with conservation easements continue to benefit from this high level of protection. We also will explore new avenues to ensure that the island of land east of Irvine Lake, which is surrounded by protected parkland, does not become the victim of inappropriate, sprawling developments.
