Senior Chapter Director wanted
The Senior Chapter Director is the top staff management position in the Angeles Chapter. As such, is responsible for advising the Executive Committee and directing the staff in implementing all programs of the Angeles Chapter. Position reports directly to the Executive Committee through the Chapter Chair. Deferred giving and major gift fundraising are top priorities for this position. The Senior Chapter Director is responsible for managing all Chapter staff.

The successful candidate will have a commitment to preserving the environment, at least five years of substantial management experience in grassroots campaign organizing, media relations, and working with political leaders, as well as substantial experience in planning and managing deferred giving programs and major gift solicitation. A B.A./B.S. degree is required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with volunteers, excellent oral and written skills, outstanding computer skills, and a proven record of successful staff leadership are essential.

Salary: $65,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience, with comprehensive benefits package. The Angeles Chapter office is located in the mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles. ExComm meetings
Regular meetings are scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 20 and Dec. 11 (tentative, check with office) for 1pm in Chapter office. Visitor parking on the street. Building parking is limited to holders of keycards.

Holiday closings
Sierra Club offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 24 and 25 for Thanksgiving.

A one-year subscription is $10 for members and $20 for nonmembers. Individual copies are $7.50 by mail from Chapter and make a great holiday gift.
