The San Onofre Task Force of the Sierra Club Angeles Chapter commends the California Public Utilities Commission for its unanimous decision to launch an investigation into the rates, operations, practices, services and facilities of Southern California Edison and San Diego Gas & Electric), related to the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station Units 2 and 3.
After a four year hiatus, the Sierra Club Camera Committee presents its 23rd Photography Auction on Saturday, November 10, with refreshments, socializing, door prizes, and, of course, great artworks to buy.

The Awards Committee invites all Angeles Chapter members, entity chairs and outings chairs to submit nominees for the 2012 Chapter awards. The submission deadline is Thursday, November 1, 2012. Submissions may be sent any time before that date. The sooner the better to ensure all candidates are honored in a timely way. Late applications will be held over for the 2013 awards.
The Angeles Chapter Sierra Club is home to one of
the largest outings programs on the planet. Each year, the
Chapter sponsors thousands of trips ranging from beach barbecues
to mountaineering expeditions in Southern California,
across the nation and the world.
