Interested in becoming an outings leader for the Club?
Angeles Chapter is home to one of the largest outings programs on the planet - thousands of trips ranging from beach barbecues to mountaineering expeditions.
You can take the first step toward becoming a leader by attending a class offered by the Chapter Leadership Training Committee on Saturday, April 4. The class, usually taught in Los Angeles, will take place this time in Orange County.

O!burger - Simply Organic, has named the Sierra Club's Angeles Chapter as its 2009 Charity of Choice. Co-owners Martha Chang and Andy Soboil are big supporters of the environment (especially the Sierra Club) and firm believers in food being organic, healthy and tasty.

As environmentalists, we are known for protecting our resources. We understand that some things are worth saving. We encourage protections for scenic places, rare flora and fauna, and neighborhoods. Today, in our troubled economy, we take a stand for another resource, one that needs our immediate attention, the American Worker.

On March 22nd, the Sierra Club Angeles Chapter will celebrate World Water Day with a March for Water and Water Festival in Los Angeles. This day-long event will focus on raising awareness of the water issues in Southern California.
