If you have a knack for numbers, a background or interest in accounting, the ability to understand checks and balances, and good people skills as you will be coordinating with all entity treasurers compiling the Annual Financial Statements, this may be the perfect volunteer spot for you. Good organizational skills needed. This is a fun, rewarding venture that allows you to be an intricate part of the Chapter and affords you the opportunity to deal with interesting folks in the National Office. Wilderness activists and other concerned environmentalists from the western United States will gather for a three-day conference April 8-11 at UC Berkeley to discuss progress and opportunities in preserving America's unspoiled public lands through wilderness designation by Congress.

Reserve your space for the Wild Borneo Adventure Sept. 4-22 as the price is $2,395 until March 15 for Sierra Club members. After that date, the price increases to $2,475. Besides the interesting monkeys and orangutans, you will see unique pitcher plants.
