The Unilever/Dove Gentle Exfoliating bars that I accidentally purchased did not list the microbeads anywhere on the packaging. It took numerous emails before I could get them to admit that they contained the plastic micro beads. I returned the remaining bars with a letter to them and naturally have not heard anything back from them. Exfoliating products used to use walnut shells and other more natural products - I would pretty much assume that they are all using the microbeads now.
