I gave up my lawn 3 years ago. When water is heating up for my shower I collect that in a small tub and use that on my drought resistant plants. I don't have a dish washer and am vegetarian so use a tub in my sink to collect water for my orange tree. My water bill reflects that I am now using 50% less water than last year!
