We already have stormwater and rainwater capture on a gigantic scale. They’re called reservoirs. It is from these enormous hydro-basins that we are able to recharge groundwater and aquifers, and recycle water, yet Sierra Club has fought to destroy them and demolish dams. Your contradictions and lack of understanding make you all look silly. Reservoirs also allow us to keep northern Californians safe from flooding, while moving water where it is needed—like the fertile fields of the Central Valley, and like Southern California. Our water projects are magnificent and the envy of the world, and if you’d stop fucking them up we could all become prosperous and golden again…fish and wildlife too.
