We bought our first induction cooktop in the late 1980's. We're now on our second one, we wouldn't have anything else. Instant on/off, easy to regulate temperature, glass top doesn't get hot except where the hot pan was, super easy to clean the gas top. So many positive features, we highly recommend cooking with induction.
