I joined the Sierra Club primarily for it's outings program but learned to help the environment through political activism as well. As a member of the Angeles Chapter ExComm I could continue that. I have been the chair of the Sierra Sage regional group for the past 3 years. I have been active as an outings leader for 13 years primarily leading easy hikes and hikes in the Donna O'Neill Land Conservancy. I have assisted on a Chapter fundraising trip. I represented Sierra Sage at the Angeles Chapter ExComm for two years. The Chapter ExComm is a great place to learn about all that is happening chapter-wide and be a voice in that process.
