California State University Dominguez Hills Earth Day

April 23rd, 10 am - 3 pm - 1000 East Victoria Street, NSM F-127, Carson, CA 90747. Tabling by Palos Verdes South Bay group members Elizabeth Neat and Bill Lavoy.

El Camino College Earth Day

April 20th, 11 am - 2 pm - 16007 Crenshaw Boulevard Torrance, CA 90506. The event is focused on career and volunteer opportunities and how people can take action to address climate solutions. Students, climate organizations, community members, businesses, and youth are invited.

LA County Earth Day

April 20th, 10 am - 2 pm - Don Knab Community Park, Cerritos. Join Supervisor Janice Hahn for Guest Speakers & Workshops, Kids Play Area, Crafts, Vegan Friendly Food, Raffle Prizes, Art & Writing Contest, Electric vehicles & household appliance displays. Tabling by Sierra Club Long Beach.

39th annual Whale of a Day

April 13th, 10 am - 4 pm - Point Vicente Interpretive Center. Parking and Shuttle Info: Free from Rancho Palos Verdes City Hall. 30940 Hawthorne Blvd. RPV CA 90275 (event site parking not available). Whale of a Day celebrates the migration of the Pacific Gray whale from the frigid waters of the Arctic seas to the warm lagoons of Baja California. Earthy Day at the Bay

April 20, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. - Muth Interpretive Center Upper Newport Bay Ecological Reserve Newport Beach. Join us for a free family-friendly day full of hands-on arts and crafts, educational activities, and science discovery. Enjoy live music as you explore our Adventure Partners’ booths, take a break for a tasty treat at one of the food trucks, and don’t forget to complete the scavenger hunt for prizes and giveaways! Clean Energy 101 Webinar

April 25th, 2024. 6pm - 7pm - learn about where our state's electricity comes from and how we can move toward a just transition of our homes and power grid away from fossil fuels.
