For your enjoyment, the Angeles Chapter is offering an eight day/seven night Fall Colors fundraising cruise to the East Coast on September 19-26, 2010. Sailing from the port of New York, you will long remember the sights, sounds and scenery of wonderful destinations along the way with Mary Morales and Donna Specht, your experienced Sierra Club cruise coordinators.

It can't get any more exciting than to begin this adventure in the Big Apple! Times Square, Central Park, Liberty Island, Wall Street and Broadway evoke sentimental memories of Sinatra crooning, Come be a part of it, New York, New York. We've planned a 2-day pre-cruise highlights tour package before embarking September 19th on Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Dawn.

On the first sea day we sail to the modern city of Halifax, with its centuries-old Canadian heritage and tiny seaside enclaves that brave the fierce Atlantic Ocean.

Our cruise ship continues on to St John on the Bay of Fundy where you will disembark to visit picturesque fishing villages and beautiful towns like St Martins and St Andrews-by-the-Sea. Farmers markets offer up fresh produce and wonderful handmade holiday gifts for those back home.

Another port stop is Bar Harbor, Maine, home to lobster fishermen who bring that succulent crustacean to tables across the world. But there is much more to this community. Fact: nearby Acadia National Park is one of the most visited parks in the United States.

Boston, Massachusetts, home of the Old North Church, the USS Constitution and other landmarks will beckon you to explore while immersing yourself in the history of America's Revolutionary War. We will schedule interesting shore excursions throughout the cruise.

Before sailing back to New York the ship makes a stop in Newport, Rhode Island with its extravagant mansions and heady lifestyle. This is the playground of America's wealthiest.

Interspersed in all this charm, architecture and coastal beauty is what we came forÂ…the colors of a New England autumn. Sugar maples, dogwoods, birches and gum trees shed their leaves of fiery red, orange and bright yellow, as a precursor of wintry days ahead. Come celebrate the end of one season and the beginning of another with friends and family.

Enjoy the best of Norwegian Cruise Line hospitality for one low price that covers just about every onboard delight. Prices are from $629 double-occupancy plus taxes and port charges; balcony staterooms from $1129. Group or on your own airfare is additional. (We'll help to match singles). Reserve your cabins right away for a fantastic 2010 experience!
