How Much Does WTC Cost?

An "Early Application Discount" will be in effect until December 15th, 2009. To receive the discounted fee, your application must be postmarked no later than the above date. The discounted course fees will be as follows:

After December 15th, 2009 the standard course fees will be in effect as follows:

In addition to the above fees, the required text is "Mountaineering: Freedom of the Hills" (7th Edition) by The Mountaineers which is available through WTC (only to students) at a reduced cost of $20. Click here to find out more about the textbook.




Also, WTC is pleased to offer their students the option to purchase a professional mirror compass at a reduced price. The Suunto MC-2 compass is perfect for taking bearings and normal direction with adjustable declination correction scale.

Each student is required to have a compass and this compass has all of the features that are important in mountaineering. Click here for additional details about this compass. The compass price with an online application is available at a reduced cost of $35. If there is remaining stock on hand, the compass may also be purchased at the class.
