Santiago Oaks to Irvine Park

Join us on our annual Mother's Day Hike, a 6-7 mi, 400' gain hike from Santiago Oaks Park to Irvine Park and return. This is another hike in our Urban Conservation series. Meet 8 am N Orange County rideshare pt or 8:30 am Santiago Oaks Park. Bring water, snack, lugsoles, money for parking. Rain cancels.

Ben Overturff Trail in Monrovia

Moderate 7 mi 1200' gain hike on reopened trail in Sawpit Canyon to site of former mountain resort. Learn how watershed protection helps maintain wilderness wildlife habitat while enjoying spring wildflowers. Adventurous newcomers welcome. Meet 9 am at trailhead at bridge just beyond Monrovia Canyon Park entrance (210 Fwy to Myrtle Ave, N to Foothill Blvd, E 4 blocks to Cyn Blvd, N 1.5 mi). Bring water, lunch, hiking boots, $2 park entry fee. Rain cancels.
