WHO WE ARE

The Sierra Club continues to be a champion in finding solutions to combat our climate crisis, protecting our beautiful wild places, and creating access to the outdoors. We helped pass the Clean Air, Clean Water, and Endangered Species Acts, and continue to successfully protect millions of acres of open space and wilderness. The Angeles Chapter of the Sierra Club is the largest Chapter in the West and is leading the charge to move away from dirty fossil fuels and towards equitable and resilient communities and a clean energy economy. We advocate for Earth, People, and Environmental Social Justice. Together, we can help deepen the movement for a liveable planet, safe communities, and a democracy that works for everyone. Connect with us today and find your home away from home with us in the Angeles chapter.

VOLUNTEER BASED

YOU are the Angeles Chapter! Contribute your time to lead the charge to protect the air, water, lands, and climate we all depend on.

Some organizations “have” volunteers. The Sierra Club Angeles Chapter “is” volunteers-trained leaders supported by a professional staff, backed by national expertise and know-how. Together, we select our priorities, do the hard work, and make real change.

MEMBERSHIP SUPPORTED

The Angeles Chapter’s work to carry out its many campaigns and volunteer activities relies largely on memberships and donations. Please become a Member and help us accomplish our environmental goals.

Be a part of the solution. There is a place for you at Sierra Club!

How to Volunteer:

For interested volunteers, a great way to explore the Sierra Club and get to know folks is to attend a New Member Orientation event.
