- Outings Assembly - 6 November 2010 - at Eaton Canyon.
- Committee Reports
- Treasurer and International Trips Liaison - no report.
- WTC - Safety policy approved by Safety Committee. Registration figures close to last
year. Considering insurance for equipment.
- LTC - Tina Bowman. Written report.
- Safety Committee - written report.
- LOSC - Marc Hertz. Joe Wankum is on LOSC. Will take census of outings in 2011. Setting
up best practices info. Designating areas as fragile or politically sensitive. Joe is
looking for people to write articles.
- Conservation - John Hinz. Fighting Proposition 23 - phone bank.
- Ombudsman - Bill Jackson. Discussed pending complaint.
- Bus Transportation - Joel Goldberg. No report.
- First Aid Coordinator - No report.
- Land Manager - Patrick Vaughn - no report.
- ICO - Melody Anderson - Successful fund-raiser at the Comedy Store. OC has
online outings calendar accessible to leaders.
- Carbon Footprint - Sherry Ross - no report.
- Diversity TF - Melody Anderson - conducted survey at LTC seminar.
- Old Business
- Affiliations with Red Cross - Schwitkis - no progress.
- SCOOT - ECC is on board with our development (subcommittee of 3 people with Wolf.

- New Business / Action Items
- Updated Angeles Chapter Safety Policy. Discussed. Status
of NomCom: item skipped.
- Shoe requirements - Eisenberg Letter: Discussed. Kent will respond.
- Updated Angeles Chapter Safety Policy - Phil Wheeler discussed.
- E-mail access - the Committee adopted the following policy:
All members of the OMC, Safety Committee and LTC must have access to electronic
communications.
- Proposed Governance Policy Amendments - to be presented at Outings Assembly subject
to approval by Ex-Com.
- Amend the Governance Policy to have the Outings Assembly every two years and
elected positions will have two-year terms.
- Amend the Governance Policy to eliminate the OMC representatives to the
Safety Committee and LTC.
- Meeting Adjournment. 9:30 p.m.

Next regular OMC meeting is December 6, 2010.
