Approval of Agenda.
OMC Officers for 2010.
1. Vice Chair - Mary Morales;
2. Secretary - Bill Jackson;
3. Treasurer - Donna Specht;

Approval of Minutes

The December 7, 2009 OMC Meeting minutes were approved with corrections.
Notices
1. Keith Martin is back from Haiti.
Committee Reports
1. Treasurer and International Trips Liaison - no report.
2. WTC - course is underway. Everybody is happy.
3. LTC - Tina Bowman. 75 new leaders in 2009. Ron Hudson will become the new Chair of the Mountaineering Oversight Committee.
4. Safety Committee - written report.
5. LOSC - no report.
6. Conservation - John Hinz. John, Jane, George and Melody came up with ideas to promote conservation on outings - invite conservation person to specific outings.
7. Ombudsman - Bill Jackson. No activity.
8. Bus Transportation - Joel Goldberg. No report.
9. First Aid Coordinator - No report.
10. Land Manager - Patrick Vaughn - no report.
11. ICO - Melody Anderson - Asking L.A. and O.C. if they are interested in reviving the program for wilderness access for the disabled.
12. Carbon Footprint - Sherry Ross - no report.
13. Diversity TF - Melody Anderson - the Diversity Council had a training session for Angeles Chapter - 30 people attended. The February Southern Sierran will be devoted to diversity.
Old Business
1. Affiliations with SCMA and Red Cross - Schwitkis - no changes.
2. Goverance Policy - unanimous vote of OMC recorded. Acceptance by Chapter has been postponed.
3. Tejon Ranch - Workshop 2/11/2010. Will suggest LTC-type training for all organizations that run outings.
4. Conservation conversation between Hinz and Simpson - conversation has been held (see Conservation report).
5. AWESOME - Angeles Web-based Support for Outings Management and Education - Brian is working on application development.
New Business / Action Items
1. Assembly subcommittee - next event will be November 6, 2010 at Eaton Canyon. Planning committee: Melody, Donna, Mary and Silvia. Nominating committee: John Hinz, Marc Hertz and Mike Sappingfield.
2. Chapter retreat - Discussed planning, finances and diversity.
3. Planning committee - met - discussed goals - too many regional groups.
4. Fundraising on outings - George Denny is working on it.
5. Subcommittee for budget cuts - Mary Morales agreed to serve on the committee.
6. Little Hikers/Junior Explorer Committee - OMC sanctions reactivation. Kent will present to ExComm.
