The June 1, 2009 OMC Meeting minutes were approved with corrections.

Committee Reports
1. Treasurer and International Trips Liaison - no report - no problems.
2. WTC - 9/15 opening registration - studying issue of no-shows on outings.
3. LTC - Tina Bowman. See written report.
4. Safety Committee - See written report.
5. LOSC - Sherry has resigned from LOSC.
6. Conservation - John Hinz. Jane still working on report. Developing program for conservation participation in outings. Got report from NSS. EIR for Whittier Narrows Discovery Center has been published.
7. Ombudsman - Bill Jackson. No report.
8. Bus Transportation - Joel Goldberg. No report.
9. First Aid Coordinator - Steve Goldstein - Sections need to look at rosters - people coming due. John to look into 1st aid courses for I/M.
10. Land Manager - Patrick Vaughn - no report.
11. ICO - Barbara Creighton - L.A. ICO given community service award. Rental vehicles are very expensive. Incessant need for fundraising.
12. ICO - Barbara Creighton - no report.
13. Diversity TF - Melody Anderson - written report.
Old Business
1. Affiliation with Red Cross and SCMA - Kent Schwitkis - no change.
2. Assembly subcommittee - discussed menu, agenda. RSVP to George Denny.
3. NSS Action Plan - plan received.
4. OMS - Adopted resolution:
  
  OMC will invite both Ed McCarrol and Wolf Leverich to develop an OMS system and OMC will select the system to be used subject to a satisfactory licensing agreement and customer-vendor relationship.
