1. Call to order (7:30)
2. Approval of Agenda.
3. Approval of Minutes
   

   The April 6, 2009 OMC Meeting minutes were approved with corrections.

4. Notices
   
   1. Advanced Mountaineering Program.
   2. SPS submitted bylaws to Excom - approved pending SPS membership approval.
5. Committee Reports [mostly postponed because of other agenda items]
   
   1. Treasurer and International Trips Liaison - 9 trips scheduled for 2009 - 3 cancelled - 6 in progress - 4 trips scheduled for 2010.
   2. WTC - some areas are trying to expand - revising website - putting together new budget.
   3. LTC - Tina Bowman. Leader seminar 10/3/09 in Griffith Park.
   4. First Aid Coordinator - Steve Goldstein - no report.
   5. LOSC - Trails.sierraclub.org (social networking) - streamlining procedures for restricted outings - 1st draft of Water Outings Task Force.
   6. Conservation - two new wilderness areas in the San Gabriels, more coming - Tejon Ranch outings opening up.
   7. Ombudsman - no report.
   8. Bus Transporation - no report.
   9. Land Manager Coordinator - no report.
   10. ICO - no report.
   11. Carbon Footprint - Barry Holchen submitted article to the Southern Sierran.
   12. Diversity Task Force - no report.
6. Old Business
   
   1. Affiliation with Red Cross and SCMA - Kent Schwitkis - will hold meeting.
   2. Nominating Committee: Sylvia Darie, Marc Hertz, John Hinz, David Meltzer. Have location for Outings Assembly, write-up in Chapter Schedule, personal invitations to outings chairs - bring appetizers.
   3. NSS Action Plan - John Hinz will pressure for plan at the next OMC meeting.
   4. OMS - Ed McCarroll working on electronic tools.
7. New Business / Action Items
   
   1. Assembly representatives - considering phone tree / blog.
   2. Long Beach Outings 101 - discussed networking ideas.
   3. Discussed National Ski Patrol instructor development.
   4. Tejon Ranch - had outing.
   5. Mt. McRuer - committee will lobby for naming a Mt. McRuer - Sherry, Kent, Tina and Mary Mac McMannus.
   6. Schedule online - discussed.
8. Meeting Adjournment.

Next regular OMC meeting is August 3, 2009.
