2010 Candidate Todd Clark

I am running for reelection as the Outings Representative on the Safety Committee for the Angeles Chapter, having served in that position in 2010. I bring with me a great deal of safety experience from my many years working in industry and time spent in the outdoors. As an Engineering Supervisor for an electronics manufacturer for the last 13 years, I have constantly placed a strong emphasis on safety for those employees who report to me. In the past, when I was working under my Merchant Marine Officer's License, safety was always a priority for me, whether working dockside or while underway. I have been an active hike leader for both the Sierra Sage of South Orange County and the Orange County Sierra Singles for the past six years, leading at both the O-rating, and more recently the I-rating. I served for one year, 2007, as the Vice Chairman of the Sierra Sage of South Orange County. I hold an Associate of Arts Degree in Marketing and Retailing, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Management. Whether in industry or in the outdoors, I have always been a safety conscious individual, who is concerned about group and individual safety and preparedness.
