2010 Candidate Donna Specht

I received my "I" rating in 1992 and soon after began taking on more responsibilities in the Orange County Sierra Singles Section organizing, leading and assisting on bus ski trips, out of state trips, backpacking. My OCSS Management positions have included chair, treasurer, safety, finance, publicity, programs and membership and currently the Outings Chair. My special interest is new leader recruitment, fundraising and membership.

I graduated WTC in 2001.

My duties at the chapter level include 3 terms on the Chapter Executive Committee elected at large member, Fundraising Outings, Budget/Finance, Safety, Outings Management, Membership Co Chair, Awards Banquet and Southern Sierran Editorial board Committees. I was recently appointed Chapter International Trip Liaison to provide compliance, guidance and assistance to all of our entities and to promote international travel. My current position on the Chapter Executive Committee is the Representative for the Orange County Group, also an elected position.

I am a working trip leader with a wide range of experience that I hope would be of benefit to the Outings Management Committee.
