I ask for your vote to represent you on the Outings Management Committee.

I have been a WTC instructor for five years and leading trips for the Angeles Chapter for nearly three years. I bring 30+ years of outdoor experience and a deep love and respect for the wild places we get to explore, enjoy and protect. As a WTC instructor and through my education becoming an I, then M rated leader I gained knowledge of outings policies and procedures. My experience as a WTC Area Chair and Curriculum Chair provided opportunity to understand more thoroughly the written policies and how those policies are implemented in the field. I've come to appreciate that for leaders; simple, realistic policy is important.

If given an opportunity to serve on the OMC, I will work to bring a logical approach to creating solutions where needed on behalf of outings leaders and participants in a simple, consistent and concise manner.

Became an I rated leader in 2008 and an M rated leader in late 2009
WTC San Gabriel Valley Area Chair 2009 & 2010

I have led trips for WTC, SPS and DPS
