Candidate Mary Morales

I am running for a second term on the Outings Management Committee because I have enjoyed the opportunity to be part of the decision-making and behind-the-scenes activities of Angeles Chapter's outings program. As an O-rated leader of LA Sierra Singles Section for over 12 years, I've always known that Angeles Chapter leaders of every rating are the best trained in the Sierra Club. It is all because of a strong, well-run OMC that maintains safety policies, manages leader training, arbitrates disputes and funnels National Sierra Club directives related to outings with clear, concise communications to the leader community. I would like to continue being a part of this vital Chapter group, if you will honor me with re-election.

I am current chair of LA Sierra Singles, member-at-large on the Chapter Executive Committee, Chapter Co-Membership chair, Chapter Leadership Academy (Training Workshop) chair, Harwood Lodge Publicity coordinator, and a Harwood lodge overseer.
