Energy is the unseen ‘juice’ that makes things run. To encourage more juice powering our business community to come from green sources the OC Global Warming Committee has started a ‘Powered by Solar’ Award project as part of its ongoing Juicing OC campaign. Working in cooperation with local solar electric contractors and installers we are awarding Orange County’s solar powered commercial buildings this eye catching decal. Look for it on windows or doors of commercial buildings near you. It’s the sign of critical energy awareness and good business sense.

From logo contest winner, Timothy Cormack: “I entered this contest as a project for an Adobe Illustrator class I am taking. I like to add elements of symbolism to my art and so I was excited to do a logo, especially about something so essential as efficient, renewable energy. I feel strongly that if we use energy as if it were infinite our energy source should match our expectations. The sun is that energy source and it's about time we used it as efficiently as nature has been using it all along. I go to school at OCC in the hopes of transferring to Cal State Fullerton or Cal State Long Beach. When I graduate my dream job would be to work for a video game company such as Blizzard or SquareSoft, or a movie company such as Dreamworks or Pixar.” You can contact Timothy Cormack at :
