Winter Combo Getaway Bus Trip to Mammoth Lakes

January 26 to 28, I-rated trip. Learn to cross-country ski in the backcountry with Sierra Club leaders and instructors. You can enjoy backcountry ski touring and snowshoe touring with leaders, and/or cross-country ski on your own at Tamarack Nordic Ski Center. Downhill skiers and snowboarders who love Mammoth Mountain are welcome too. Non-skiers can have fun in Mammoth Lakes too. $310 to $325 per person, includes bus, accommodations and more. Yosemite Bus Trip

February 16 to 19, O-rated (easy) trip. Join the 39th annual winter bus trip for a three-night stay in Yosemite National Park. The air is fresh and clear at this time of year, and you'll have plenty of time to ski, hike or just loaf around. Leaders will lead optional hikes for non skiers; skiers get a free shuttle to Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area. $660 to $680 per person, includes bus, accommodations and more. President's Day Weekend in Yosemite at Wawona

February 16 to 19, I-rated trip. Ride-share north and then stay in cabins in the Wawona area near Yosemite’s south entrance. Join leaders for low intermediate cross-country ski and snowshoe each day at Yosemite Ski & Snowboard Area and other parts in and outside the park. Participants on their own may go downhill or track skiing, ice skating or simply explore Yosemite Valley in winter. $280 per person, includes lodging in modern cabin and more. Winter Combo Getaway Bus Trip to Mammoth Lakes

March 9-11, I-rated trip. You may go on daily backcountry ski tours and snowshoe tours with Sierra Club leaders. One ski activity will be devoted to honing technique, with tips from experienced ski instructors. Special guest mountaineer and author, Doug Robinson, will be in attendance.
