Trash talk: Where does garbage go after you put out your bins?

Sierra Club member Coby Skye will talk Trash 101 on March 5 at the monthly meeting of the Chapter's Long Beach Group.

Coby is a Senior Civil Engineer working for the Environmental Programs Division of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, and a Board Member of the Long Beach Group of the Sierra Club. He'll discuss what happens to your trash once you leave it at the curb, whether your bottles and cans really get recycled, and what the future holds for waste management in the 21st century.
