Join us for Giving Tuesday

On Tuesday, December 3, the Sierra Club Angeles Chapter will join other organizations across the country in celebrating a day dedicated to giving. Skip the buying frenzy of Black Friday and Cyber Monday to do something that makes a difference.

#GivingTuesday launched in 2012, as an official day to kick off the Season of Giving. Observed the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, this day provides an opportunity to celebrate better and smarter giving. To help us commemorate this official launch of the holiday season, the Angeles Chapter Sierra Club is encouraging its members and supporters to consider a donation to help support our efforts.

We’re asking our volunteers to help us get into the holiday spirit! During hikes and meetings in November and December, leaders will encourage participants to donate to the Sierra Club Angeles Chapter. We invite you to be part of the celebration by making your year-end, tax-deductible donation online today!

#GivingTuesday is a philanthropic response to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, an opportunity to show that we can do more this year -- and a powerful reminder that the true spirit of the holiday season should be about community, not consumerism.
