Are you tempted to spend afternoons leisurely soaking in the sun on a tropical beach? Or is your kind of soaking that which comes from a sudden storm as clouds rake a rugged mountain? The Angeles Chapter, Orange County Sierra Singles Hawaiian Adventure offers all of these and more - the chance to soak daily in the ocean and on the sand, and if the clouds sit just right on the Ko'olau Range, the chance for a quick drenching and sightings of rainbows in the mountains and valleys of Oah'u. To be honest, we've never been rained out of a hike, but there have been plenty of opportunities to feel the fun, muddy effects of the island's frequent tropical showers.

Participants in the Hawaiian Adventure will have the option to hike for four days on a variety of trails in this tropical rain forest. Three hikes are 4.5+ miles each, with 500-1000 ft. of altitude gain. On our second day starts with snorkeling at Hanauma Bay State Park, followed by a 2-mile R/T hike to the famous Manoa Falls. Our last hike offers our most intrepid hikers the chance to climb a peak for a 360 degree view of the island. All of the trails lead us through a variety of spectacular ginger groves and bamboo forests. There will be a free day in the middle of the trip.

Other highlights include an optional group surfing lesson with a famous Waikiki Beach Boy, nightly entertainment along Waikiki beach, and ample time every morning and afternoon to enjoy the warm waters and waves of Waikiki.

For the past few years, this popular hiking adventure fills up quickly, so call soon to request an information and reservation packet.
