Southern Sierran
Leadership Academy To Build on Retreat’s Momentum
This event has been rescheduled - New date to be determined
by Mary Morales
2010 ExComm Member-at-Large

At the annual ExComm Retreat, the Angeles Chapter Executive Committee, together with other Chapter members, embarked on a multi-year renewal and re-focus on fundamental goals and strategies for future development. This year’s Leadership Academy Volunteer Workshop will pick up where the Retreat left off.

Join us on Saturday, March 13, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm at Eaton Canyon Nature Center, 1750 N. Altadena Dr, Pasadena (Ample parking available; carpooling encouraged!) to become part of some very important initiatives.

A full schedule of workshops will include sessions on Communications, Conservation, Membership, Fundraising, Diversity, and Future Development.

This is a great opportunity for Chapter entity management committee members, newcomers, as well as long-time activists, to network with the Chapter’s ExComm to help chart the Chapter’s course. We cannot stress how vital your involvement is considered.

This event is free and everyone is welcome--member or non-member. However, as space is limited at the facility, please pre-register as soon as possible.

The workshop begins with registration, continental breakfast and a welcome from the 2010 Chapter

ExComm chair. The various breakout sessions begin at 10:00 am and resume after lunch.

Contact Registrar Mary Morales at 949-636-2981 no later than March 11 for more information and to reserve a spot.
