Climb Kilimanjaro Vicariously 9/21

Joe Young will present "Great African Adventures" at the September 21, meeting. The presentation includes a Powerpoint program and a discussion of his recent three-week trip to Kenya and Tanzania, including a climb to the highest mountain in Africa,19,000-foot Mt. Kilimanjaro, a safari to the Serengeti wildlife preserve, and a safari through the Ngorongoro Crater, which he said had even more concentrated wildlife than the Serengeti.

The free meeting will begin at 7:45 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 21 in the Community Room in Burton Chace Park, located at the west end of Mindanao Way in Marina del Rey. Refreshments will be provided.
