The Angeles Chapter Fundraising Committee invites you to join our Exotic Western Caribbean cruise as we sail south from New Orleans on November 15 returning November 22. We will have all day to explore the scenic/historic ports of Costa Maya, Mexico; Santo Tomas De Castilla, Guatemala; Belize City, Belize; and Cozumel, Mexico before returning to New Orleans. These ports have centuries of British, French, and Spanish history, which you can enjoy.

Additionally, a pre-cruise extension will be offered in New Orleans: Three nights/four days to explore the French Quarter, museums, history, and heritage. Think Bourbon Street. Take in some jazz, crawdads, gumbo, or jambalaya!

In Costa Maya you can take in Mayan ruins at Chacchoben, soft sand beaches with grass thatched palapas, and a coral reef. Santo Tomas De Castilla offers Mayan culture, the spectacular Rio Dulce and Lake Izabal, and local Guatemalan towns. Belize City has museums, caves, and Mayan temples. World famous Cozumel, the resort of white sand beaches offers attractions like the Chankanaab Lagoon with 60 species of tropical fish.

For about $100 a day the Norwegian Spirit offers all those extras you'd expect from a luxury cruise/vacation! 8 meals a day, Las Vegas style entertainment every night at sea in the multi-level showroom, duty free shopping, bands and orchestras, 1st run movies daily, mid-night buffets, music to make you sway or rock the night away in your choice of clubs, try your luck at the casino, or work out on a optional Spa program with Spa meals, choice of five hot tubs/swim pools, join a singles cocktail party or one of our onboard get togethers and/or hikes, etc. So what will you do the next day? In ports, there are many opportunities for adventures, shopping, and exploration. Add to all this, the pampered service and fine dining at your table or casual dining whenever you choose, larger cabins than others, staff ratio of 1:2 guests, and you have an experience you'll always remember. Prices are from $589 D/occupancy plus port charges and taxes (includes all of the above shipboard, except casino and spa. Did we mention that Balcony staterooms are available at $975? (Always wanted one of those!) Call Montrose Travel's group division at 800-301-9673 (ask for Violet) for details, brochure, and names of roommates, if necessary. And Montrose Travel may offer a special for our passengers sailing on this cruise. It is for a very limited time, and too good to print! You can visit www.montrosetravel.com/sierraclub for details. For pre-cruise extension in New Orleans, contact John at lajeunes@pacbell.net. Your Sierra Club leaders John Lajeuness and Andrea Lim have visited many Caribbean ports previously.
