Endangered Species and Wildlife Announces New Outings Program

BY Rosemarie White

The Endangered Species and Wildlife Committee announces a new outings program targeting areas associated with endangered species. The “Sanctuary Program” needs persons in organizational positions, such as researching sites, organizing bus and transportation needs, docent positions, etc.

“Sanctuary” will offer two possible events in 2009: “The Serenity Garden” on the grounds of the Brentwood Veterans Administration and “Fire Ecology and the Santa Barbara Experience.”

Please contact Rosemarie White, Chair of the Endangered Species and Wildlife Committee with suggests and interest areas at 818-769-1521 or via email at DrRMWhite@aol.com. This can be a very exciting program which will do significant outreach to all communities.
