A three-year-old male condor as seen from Lookout Studio at South Rim Grand Canyon National Park.

Wilderness Adventures’ Thanksgiving bus trip to the Grand Canyon resulted in five sightings of the California condor, including this one, where the Condor alighted on the canyon rim wall for 20 minutes. Condors in the Arizona experimental population are doing very well, while their designated habitat here in California is threatened by the massive developments planned at Tejon Ranch.
