| April 6, 2003 was a beautiful day to hike in the Mission Creek Preserve (off highway 62 going up to Yucca Valley). The Mt Baldy Group went to see the desert wildflowers in bloom: Sophie Radowick, Brigitte Goehler, Robin and Lori Ives (yes, Lori hiked when not resting on the log). The road was flat, the flowers beautiful, the company pleasant. (Below: Lori framed in door of abandoned stone cottage) | ||
