O: Akawie (7283), Winston Peak (7502): About 5 mi rt with 1500 of gain. Well do Akawie followed by Winston Pk, where well do lunch. Well do a down and around on the return. Have food, water, and good footwear. Meet at 9 am La Canada rideshare pt. Ldrs:
O: Baden-Powell (9399): 8 mi rt with 2800 of gain. The drive to Vincent Gap is long but the hike and views are great. After lunch its all down hill! Meet 8 am at La Canada rideshare pt. Have plenty of water, food, and good footwear. Ldrs:
O: Baden-Powell (9399) and Burnham (8997): 9 mi 2400 of gain, loss 2800. Well start at Dawson Saddle and end at Vincent Gap. Car shuttles 8 mi. Meet 8 am at La Canada rideshare pt Have plenty of water lunch, good footwear. Ldrs:
O: Bare Mtn. (6388), Hillyer (6200): First well do Bare, 2 mi rt with 1200 gain; a steep climb to this bare peak. Drive back to do Hillyer: an easy half hour with 300 of gain. Meet at La Canada rideshare pt with water, and food. Ldrs:
O: Barley Flats (5600): From Alder Creek well hike up the Barley Flats Trl 4 mi with 2200 of gain to summit. Return 4 mi no gain. Meet 9 am at La Canada rideshare pt. With water, lunch, good footwear. Ldrs:
O: Barley Flats (5600), Lawlor (5957) Loop: Well hike from Red Box on old road 3 mi with 1000 of gain to Barley Flats. Then do an another 2 mi with 800 of gain to Lawlor. After lunch we drop down west to saddle and return the 2 mi to Red Box. Meet 9 an at La Canada rideshare pt with water, lunch, good footwear. Ldrs:
O: Bighorn Pk (8441). Starting at 5000 we climb 4 mi with 2600 of gain to Icehouse Saddle. From there its another 1 mi and 800 gain to our peak. Total 10 mi, 3200 gain. Meet at 8:30 am Baldy rideshare pt with water, lunch, and good footwear. Ldrs:
O: Burnham (8997): From Dawson Saddle (7900+) we most gain only 1100 in a little over 3 mi to the summit. The last part on use trail is a little steep. Meet at 9 am La Canada rideshare pt with water, lunch, good footwear. Ldrs:
I: Cole Pt (5604): 4 mi rt with 1500 of gain. This hike is a little harder than it sounds. Why? Much it is on use trail with even a little cross-country. Meet at 9 am La Canada rideshare pt with water, lunch, good footwear. Ldrs:

O: Deception (5796), Disappointment (5960): 5 ½ mi rt with 1500 of gain to do these old peaks. Will have some fun coming down from the peaks! Meet at 9 am La Canada rideshare pt with water, lunch, and good footwear. Ldrs:
O: Emma (5273), Old Emma (5063): 2 mi with a 1000 of gain get us to Emma. Old Emma will be reached by another 1 ½ mi and 500 gain hike. Need check this out before taking group.
O: Fox #2 (5033): can be added to the Condor hike see Condor Need to check out best way from Big Tujunga Canyon.
O: Gleason (6502), & Messenger Flats CG: From 6 mi in, below detention center, on Mt. Gleason Road well hike the PCT 7 mi rt with 1000 of gain. Meet at 9 am La Canada rideshare pt with water, lunch, and good footwear. Ldrs:
O: Gleason (6502): Well drive 8.8 mi on the Gleason Rd and park. Hike down road Ύ mi to near Lightning Point. Take tr. 1 ½ mi to Messenger Flats. Explorer the ups in this area. Have lunch. Hike up short ways to Gleason and exit to our cars. Meet at 9 am La Canada rideshare pt. With water, lunch, good footwear. Ldrs: (this could be a good deli outing )
O: Gleason (6502) & Gleason Mines: 5 mi rt with 1000 of gain. We will hike to see the mines, which John Robinson wrote about in his Trails of the Angeles pp. 132-133. Should be fun! Meet 9 am at La Canada rideshare, water, food, and good footwear. Ldrs:
O: Hawkins (8850): 10 mi rt with 2400 gain, all on good trail or perhaps a little use-tr. We drive 40+ mi to Islip Saddle our trailhead. Return is almost all down hill. Meet at 8 am at La Canada rideshare pt with water, lunch, and good footwear. Ldrs:
O: Hawkins (8850), Islip (8250), Throop (9138): A moderate 9 mi shuttle hike from Dawson saddle (7900+) to Islip Saddle (6500). Gain 1900, if you skip Islip only 1300. Meet 8 am at La Canada rideshare pt with water, food, and good footwear. Ldrs:
O: Hillyer (6200+): 6 mi rt with 900 of gain. From Chilao well hike up the Silver Moccasin Trail to House Flats CG. Then up one of many ways to the peak and return one of the many ways! Meet 9 am at La Canada rideshare pt with water, lunch, and good footwear. Ldrs:

O: Lowe (5603), Inspiration Pt, Mt Muir Loop: 8 mi rt with 1500 gain. After summit of Lowe we drop down the west side tr to road leading to Inspiration. O: Lukens (5074): About 9 mi rt, with 2900 of gain hike from Duekmejian Wilderness Park. Well hike up the new/old Dunsmore Cyn Ridge Trl and return by road and steep Cooks Cyn Ridge Trl. Meet 9 at La Canada rideshare with water, food, jacket, and good footwear. Ldrs:

O: Pacifico (7124): 10 mi rt with 1700 gain. We start from near Pinyon Flats using the PCT for 4 mi to use-tr on N ridge that at times is steep & fun. Meet at La Canada rideshare with water, lunch, and good footwear. Ldrs:

O: Mount San Antonio (Baldy!) (10,064): 8 mi rt 3900 gain from Manker Flats (6200) Well hike road for about 1 mi to Ski Hut Trl an on up to Ski Hut (8200).
