Both will run the Catalina Island Marathon in 1996. They enjoy training in hills of rural La Habra Heights, CA. They have learned many tricks and will be featured in several magazine articles that I am writing. The most recent article written for them is called "Canine Crafting" and features the safe ways people can take their pets on kayaks, canoes, and other boats.

  • Natasha is a very affectionate animal, loves people, other dogs, lots of exercise and the outdoors and runs to the furthest point when off leash. She is always at the head of the pack on hikes, regardless of where her owner is.She also loves to hunt and has been guilty of catching unwary mice and gophers in the wild.
  • Natasha has a playmate by the name of Tyge, a Shepherd-mix, foster dog who's been part of the family since June, 1997. Tyge loves hiking also, but is not as friendly to other dogs as he should be. Tyge was born in February, 1996, making him a few months older than Natasha.
