International Community Section Outings Schedule 2008

The outings listed here are official outings of the International Community Section, Angeles Chapter, Sierra Club. The following apply to all Sierra Club outings, including the outings listed here:

• In order to participate on one of the Sierra Club's outings, you will need to sign a liability waiver. If you would like to read a copy of the waiver prior to the outing, please see http://sierraclub.org/outings/chapter/forms or call 415-977-5528.


• In the interest of facilitating the logistics of some outings, it is customary that participants make carpooling arrangements. The Sierra Club does not have insurance for carpooling arrangements and assumes no liability for them. Carpooling ride sharing or anything similar is strictly a private arrangement among the participants. Participants assume the risks associated with this travel.

May 8-11 Thu-Sun

O: Fishing with Ted and Bella Carcamp: Camp in the Eastern Sierra, probably the Mammoth Lakes area starting Thursday night. Relaxing weekend during which you can enjoy some light hiking, spend time at the lakes and fish or learn to fish, if so inclined. Birding and sketching from nature are also possible activities. Ted and Bella hang out the gone fishing shingle about this time every year. This time, we plan to join them. Bring food and camping equipment. Cost for campsites less than $10/person/night. Search for Perfect Tea #54: Please join me at this reasonably priced restaurant in Santa Monica, near the ocean. We shall meet at 4:00 on Saturday, June 28 for the Afternoon Tea. It is reasonably priced at $13.95 and there is parking around the corner on Second Street in a public garage.
