Recreational Transit System Guidelines
1. Trip requests must be submitted 8 weeks prior to a trip date. Please be sure to confirm that your bus request
has been received and that your trip is eligible for a Recreational Transit System Bus.
2. Changes to trips must be submitted 14 calendar days prior to a trip date.
3. Trips must be cancelled 3 days prior to a scheduled trip date. Groups that are “NO
SHOW
,” or cancel less than 24 hours prior to a trip may incur a charge ($75). Watch the weather report in
order to make an informed decision regarding cancellation. Discuss the cancellation with the teacher.
4. Bus size: The largest school bus will hold 52 adults or 38 children 3rd grade or younger (3 per
seat). Smaller buses are available. Wheelchair and coach buses are also available.

. Destinations must be in the
Santa Monica
Mountains
or Rim of the Valley parks.
