If you're like me, you live in Southern California because you value our amazing open spaces from mountains to desert, beaches and coastal wetlands, all to be enjoyed in one of the world's best climates.

These special areas are home to hundreds of wildlife species from the California condors and mountain lions in our mountains to nesting birds and marine life along the Pacific coast. Sadly, vital wildlife areas continue to be threatened by property developers and others who want to exploit these natural resources with no regard for the damage they do to the environment we live in, and the wild lands we want to protect.

Please donate now and help the Sierra Club protect natural areas remaining in our local mountains, canyons and coastlines from these threats so the beauty of Southern California is preserved for your children and grandchildren.

Protecting natural places in Southern California is crucial to ensuring that we all have the opportunity to explore and enjoy the great outdoors. These are accessible places where we can unwind in nature and connect with our family, friends and community -- and remember why it's so important to protect our coasts, mountains, and other landscapes.

Please make a gift to support our local work. 100% of your investment goes to work here in Southern California.

Sincerely,
Please Donate!
