Our goal is to educate the community, and use every avenue of advocacy and public participation to:

  • Lower greenhouse gas emissions;
  • Encourage the development of clean energy technology; and
  • Ensure stringent regulation of polluters

2009 Goals

Our goals for 2009 (details) are:

  1. LADWP Campaign
  2. Cool Cities Campaigns, OC and LA
  3. Green Power Campaign
  4. Public Education/Outreach Campaign

  6. Support State, National and International Global Warming Campaigns

Our primary focus in 2008 was working within Sierra Club California for the best-possible AB 32 Scoping Plan to reduce California's global warming emissions to 1990 levels by 2020.
