Mission Statement The Global Warming, Energy and Air Quality Committee of the Sierra Club - Angeles Chapter is dedicated to slowing climate change and seeking sustainable and inspired solutions to the energy needs of Los Angeles and California. Our primary focus in 2008 was working within Sierra Club California for the best-possible AB 32 Scoping Plan to reduce California's global warming emissions to 1990 levels by 2020. Get Involved! Come to our regular meetings at the Angeles Chapter office, 7:00 p.m. on the second Thursday of odd months (January, March, etc.).
