Big Pine Lakes Backpack
Aug 23 - 25 Sat - Mon
Moderate 5 mi round trip, 2900 ft elevation gain backpack to a beautiful small lakes basin in the eastern Sierras. We'll explore and photograph meadows and isolated lakes and check to see if Palisade Glacier still exists. Trip is limited to 10 people. Send email/2 sase, phones, backpacking experience, rideshare info and $15 (payable to SCCC) to leader.

Mono Lake / Eastern Sierra Fall Color Photography
Sep 27 - 29 Sat - Mon
Observe and phograph Mono Lake, the Eastern Sierra jewel. Explore dazzling canyons and the beaver dam progression above and beyond Lundy Lake. Possible visits to Lee Vining Creek and Bodie ghost town. Participants must be able to hike up to 5 mi / day at 8000 ft elevation, carry your photography gear, 10 essentials, day pack, etc. Includes group camping (Fri - Sun) and donation to SCCC. Group size is limited to 15. Reserve early - our trips fill up quidkly. Send rideshare info, email/sase, phones and $30 (payable to SCCC) to leader.
