The California coastline is threatened by a desalination facility proposed to create fresh water from the ocean in Huntington Beach. Water from this proposal is just too harmful to the environment and the economy!

The OC Transportation Corridor Authority (TCA) is applying for a waste discharge permit for the first segment of the Foothill South Tollroad that it is calling the Tesoro Extension.

May 6-11 is International Compost Awareness Week. We'll be featuring compost tips all week!

As you may be aware the Sierra Club has taken a strong position opposing the Poseidon Huntington Beach Desalination Plant due to its destructive impacts on ocean water quality and climate change. There is a critical vote coming up and we need your help!
