O: Tibet-Mongolia-China Gobi Desert Adventure: Limit 20 Participants. See seldom visited sights in Tibet & Mongolia, Pandas and other sights in China. Visit many of the treasures of Mongolia's capital Ulaanbatar and experience the Mongolian culture, some nights staying in the traditional Mongolian 'Ger' camps. We will do easy hiking and exploration of some of Mongolia's National Parks to see animals such as the rare Mongolian wild horse. Visit Karakorum, the ancient Mongolian capital and the Gobi Desert on our train ride through Mongolia. In Xining tour Taer Monastery and mosques. Travel to by train to Lhasa, capital of Tibet, across Tibetan Plateau Roof of the World on the world's highest rail line and surrounding mountain ranges. On the train ride, look for rare Tibetan antelopes, gazelles, and wild donkeys. We spend 4 nights in Lhasa, visiting the Potala Palace, Jokang Temple, Barkhor quadrangle, Drepung and Sera Monasteries. We will travel the towns and bazaars of Gyantse and Shigatse, seeing beautiful lakes, glaciers & mountains on the way. We will visit the Pandas at a Panda Breeding Center in Chengdu.
